Do you ever feel this way? Like you’ll never figure this out because there’s just too much to learn and not enough time to do it.

Guess what? You’re not alone!

The work from home business space is plagued with a weird condition called information overwhelm…

Sound familiar? It exceeds your capacity to process it, leading to frustration and anxiety.

But this is SO easily avoided!

If you are experiencing information overwhelm right now.

It’s because you feel that there is something that you HAVE to do and know in your business right now.

And you allow yourself to get stressed out over the fact that you don’t know how.

Just take a breath, take a step back and think about it.

Have you ever walked into a library…

And instantly become overwhelmed (or anxious) with the amount of books you see?

Hopefully not.

You’re probably aware that you will never be able to read them all.

It helps to have a to read list already in mind.

You grab a book, take it home, and read it. You read one book at a time.

The work from home business is no different.

You just need to learn one skill at a time, then become the master of it.

And then tackle a new skill.

Do you ever feel this way?

I see so many marketers trying to master 2 or more different traffic strategies at once.

And they get no results in any of those strategies.

If they do, they are mediocre results at best.

You are much better off just choosing ONE.

Put all of your focus, time and money investment into one strategy.

Until you become the master.

At that point you can effectively learn another skill.

Don’t spread yourself out too thin and become mediocre at many things.

Tackle one thing at a time and become the best at what you do.

Do not allow yourself to become overwhelmed.

You’re way too good for that!

Today’s blog post is about how to sell more stuff online, which I think should help you to make more leads and sales in your online home biz.

So it all comes down to this one simple task:

Give your audience what they want.

I see so many people in this business that are trying to use hype.

Just to get people to join their business or buy their products…

How To Sell More Stuff Online

Do you think people log into Facebook just to search for a business opportunity?

Do they visit YouTube and blogs to be pitched the latest and greatest biz opp?

No!

People are on Facebook to be entertained.

They watch YouTube videos and read blogs to find information and also entertainment.

Nobody likes being sold to.

So if you want to build a loyal tribe of people that loves you and trusts you enough to buy what you’re selling.

Then you have to give the people what they want.

You want to become their trusted adviser.

Do a little research.
Visit forums, Facebook groups and blogs.
Send surveys to your existing customers.
Find out what the people WANT.
And then deliver the goods.

You have to understand that it’s not about YOU.

Your customers don’t care about you.

They don’t care about how much money you’ve made or how much you want to make.

They care about what’s in it for them.

Always make sure to keep your potential customer’s best interests first and foremost.

Present a ton of value and answer any questions that they have.

When you can do this for free in your content, without really asking for anything in return.

You will have people LINING UP to buy your stuff when the time comes that you do send out an offer.

Treat people right, and they will treat you right in return.

How to interpret your dreams and visions if you are in the work from home business niche. then you’ve no doubt heard this many times. SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound).

Or how about…have a WHY that makes you cry.

I’m sure there are many more out there, but you get the point.

So here’s the thing…

A WHY might not be enough to pull you through the difficult times that WILL inevitably come.

“It is often insufficient to sustain you through the inevitable, overwhelming, and unpredictable difficulties that life brings.”

How to interpret your dreams and visions.

You need to look beyond your “why”.

Now don’t get me wrong, your why is important, for sure.

For instance, my WHY was my family, maybe it’s your why too!

Who doesn’t want to help them live a better lifestyle?

I wanted to make more money so that I could become debt free and not have to worry about money.

You too? OK cool.

But I soon discovered that it wasn’t enough to get me out of bed.

To rise early in the morning to get all of my business tasks done.

If you find yourself struggling to find the motivation to push forward.

Then you need this, a VISION.

Your “Why” will help you begin, but these traits (resilience and discipline) is what allows you to finish.

Especially when your “WHY” seems so out of reach.

Ever got to a point in your life where you don’t like the person I (maybe you too) was becoming?

Obviously, everyone wants to be something more.

I wanted to become somebody who I could be proud of.

I wanted to become somebody who impacts other peoples’ lives.

Someone who would some day leave a legacy.

And when that VISION of who I wanted to become became strong and dominant.

I became unstoppable.

There is nothing anybody could say or do that would stop me (or even slow me down) from achieving my goals… and it’s because of my VISION.

My solid skills, tools and mindset allows me to overcome any immediate obstacles.

Resilience is a learned continuing journey and that is powerful stuff.

So what’s your vision?

What type of person do you want to become?

Once you have that figured out…

Don’t let anyone stop you from becoming that person!

Now is the Time for Action

Now is the time for action. If you want to be successful in this business, then you need to stop chasing shiny objects because you are being target marketed to!

Here’s what I mean in this blog post.

In this instance, there are 2 main types of people in the world:

Consumers
Creators

Consumers obviously are the people that are spending money.

I was one of the worst when it came to buying everything that landed in my email inbox.

I always told myself that this is the one I believed would allow me to finally achieve success.

Back then, the creators were making money from people like me (maybe you too).

And consumers buy from these creators because of authenticity, relatability and validation.

Now is the Time for Action

A big problem I see in the home business niche today is that people say they are going to start building a business, but they don’t DO anything.

They attend all the training webinars, they buy all of the latest products that should theoretically help their business.

But they never create anything. They never actually IMPLEMENT anything.

So if you want to become successful, start being the marketer in this equation.

In fact, it truly comes down to a few main elements.

And if you can master these elements, you can start making money in your business.

Decide what it is you actually want
Figure out what you will promote
Make a daily plan
Take daily action on your plan
Measure your progress
Have faith in yourself

I can tell you it works because it’s exactly what I do in my business.

And it works for me!

How to build a home business on a budget.

Everybody is always wondering how to build a home business on a budget. And what is the best traffic source to do this with.

Most new marketers will jump from one traffic source to the next.

Never REALLY implementing anything for the long term.

Here’s the thing…

This means that without a consistent, “baby steps” approach.

Large goals become overwhelming and get abandoned.

So If you are working with a low budget…

And if you can’t afford to buy traffic, then focus on content creation.

How to build a home business on a budget.

But don’t just try it for a week or two…

I mean REALLY focus on content creation.

Remember, consistency is about showing up over time, and not being perfect.

If you choose to create daily blogs and/or videos consistently, you WILL get results.

You will get leads and you will get sales.

Not to mention the fact that you are going to build massive trust with your audience when they see that you’re delivering value on a daily consistent basis.

It’s time to start thinking about this like a real business and commit to it for the long term.

Small, daily actions will build momentum and lead to long-term success

So you should commit to either blogging or video marketing… or even better, both.

Just give it some time and see how much momentum you’ve built up.

I’m willing to bet that after awhile, you will be unstoppable!

Yes paid traffic is great and it allows you to scale your business quickly if you know what you’re doing…

But free traffic (aka content creation) is just as powerful and the perfect place to start if you’re on a tight budget.
