Today I want to talk about a conversation I’ll never forget. I remember when I started how confused I was on a daily basis. I spent more time wondering what I should be doing over actually getting any work done.
So I decided, after following the advise I was given to get started asking friends and family to join the program.
It’s a conversation I’ll never forget, and it went like this…
Me: Would you like to make some extra money on the side?
My friend: What is this about? It’s not MLM, is it?
Me: My business coach would explain it much better than me. Why don’t we go for lunch sometime and talk about it?
My friend: My sister is involved in MLM and it’s definitely a scam.
Me: Shut up, it’s not a scam—–
My friend: Forget it. I’m not interested.
Just seems like yesterday when I was involved in this MLM, trying to recruit friends and family.
I have never been a social mouthpiece and hearing the word “NO” many times was a bummer.
That’s why I turned to online marketing.
So I could build my home business online and not have to deal with the rejections.
It was a short lived thing, because people still said no.
But look…it’s a numbers game and the “no thanks ” are still gonna happen.
If you are determined to succeed in this business, then it’s time to develop a thick skin.
You have to understand that not everyone is interested in what you have to sell.
Even though your product and opportunity would be beneficial to everyone, some people simply don’t want it.
So why waste your time trying to sell to people who have no interest whatsoever?
Some people will think it’s a scam.
OK, it’s not for them. NEXT!
Some people will think your stuff is too expensive.
NEXT!
Some people don’t want to start a business…
… you get the point, right?
The reality is that some people will, and most people won’t.
You just gotta work through the numbers.
If you get enough quality leads, you WILL make sales.
It really is a numbers game.
Whatever you do, don’t let people get you down or stand in your way.
Continue moving forward.
And learning as you go.
Keep taking action.
Because you and I both know that the end result will be so worth it.
That’s why you and I started this journey to begin with right?
Remember if you dedicate some time for your home business.
And really committing yourself daily to doing what it takes to succeed.
Imagine where you could be a year from now.
Don’t just take my word for it though!
Make the commitment NOW and discover for yourself what’s really possible.
For now, I just encourage you to enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend… and tomorrow, it’ll be time to get to work!
