Is information marketing dead? Absolutely not! Information marketing has a very predictable outcome when you do it properly. When you go online without any real plan then you get mediocre results at best.

There have been days where I made multiple sales online, so you can’t tell me that information marketing doesn’t work.
I’m going to share my step by step process with you today, but…
First I want to ask you a question.
Do you notice how after you read my blog posts, you have this weird feeling that leaves you wanting more?
Information marketing, it makes you wonder what’s coming next.
This isn’t by accident; I create them so it leaves you wanting more.
Same thing when I write emails for my subscribers, they look forward to my emails.
I let people into my world, let them see my family and what I’m about.
They know what’s going on in my life and I share tips that will help them get results in advance.
You can do this too and I will show you how easy it is.
I’m going to teach you how I write my blog posts to people everyday, and that involves structuring your “irresistible offer.”
Without that irresistible offer, you’re leaving a ton of money on the table.
Don’t worry, this can be applied to any niche.
And even used on either affiliate offers or your own products.
I will try and simplify the process as much as possible.
If you’re thinking to yourself right now “this takes work”…
You would be right, it does.
However there is a difference between information marketing to a small list.
Verses getting minimal results like most marketers out there.
Keep in mind that your competition is probably lazy.
Because they don’t care about their customers enough to do these few extra steps.
How to do email promo’s that convert:
Step 1: Send an E-Mail as soon as the product goes up for sale.
You want to send out some initial buzz and get people interested.
Don’t over do it and try to shove the product down their throat.
If you’re promoting an affiliate product in a big niche, many marketers will do all the heavy promoting for you.
So you don’t want to actually sell the product (more on this in a minute).
Note: If the product is evergreen you will need to follow my bonus tip at the bottom.
Step 2: Offer a bonus for getting the product from you instead of somebody else.
That means never selling the product directly… I sell my bonus offer.
I create the bonus to compliment the product.
Certainly, you want to point out that the product is great.
Talk about how your bonus will help do XYZ and get a better result.
Naturally, you want to make your bonus offer something that goes hand in hand with the offer.
It shouldn’t be anything you just slap together… like PLR for example (Private Label Rights).
Example: When selling some affiliate offers, create your bonus about traffic and sales training.
Without traffic, the offer means nothing so it goes hand in hand.
Without knowing how to convert the traffic, the traffic is meaningless.
They need both elements to complete the puzzle.
Be the person who can make sales from e-mail lists. That’s what I do.
Say you’re in the weight loss niche and promoting a six pack abs course.
Then you might create a “7 Foods You Must Eat To Get Abs.” report.
Pointing out the obvious, Without eating right, the six pack abs course won’t do you much good.
And offer the free report as an essential ingredient to get the results with what they’re buying.
Finally, your bonus needs to be limited by time and the amount of people who get it.
No Kidding, if it’s limited, it’s limited… and you never go back on your word.
Break this rule once and people will never trust you again.
I will tell you why this is important later.
Next, I know what you are thinking “I don’t know how to create a report.”
Step 3: Call out the obvious.
We’re programmed to see BS from a mile away. And when someone sends us a sales offer, we are skeptical.
You absolutely have to call out the obvious and answer their biggest concerns if you want someone to buy a product from you.
Most marketers try to beat around the bush, sugar coat things and people are thinking…
Do they think I’m stupid?
When you call out the obvious and address their biggest concerns, they drop their guard.
You build trust and they’re more likely to listen to your message.
Remember how I said to do niche research to learn their fears, worries and struggles?
This is why if you already know this info, you can look at any product you promote and you will know what objections they will have.
Step 4: You endorse the product and seller.
When you build your e-mail list, those people will look to you as their trusted adviser.
They expect you to only recommend products that will help them.
So when promoting a product, it’s important that you explain to them why this is a good product and why the person who created it is credible.
Why should they trust this person or the product?
Think right now to yourself…
Do YOU think this when you want to buy something?
You absolutely do!
So make sure you always explain the benefits of why this product or person is better than other options in the marketplace.
Step 5: You remind them of the bonus and deadline.
Most people just promote for 1 or 2 emails and give up.
Your biggest sales come at the end of the promotion.
So you must keep emailing for several days to build up buzz and get people interested in making a purchase.
Everyone likes to “think about it”
Remember how I said to limit the bonus to time and the number of people who get it?
Information marketing because no one likes to lose out.
Now it’s crucial that you’re ethical about sticking to your word and shutting the bonus down when the promotion is over.
If you say it’s over in 3 days and next week promote the same offer again.
You will just upset your customers who bought the previous week.
Step 6: Go hard on the last day.
The last day is your most profitable.
Email early and let them know it’s the last day to get the product and your bonus.
Remind them why they need this product and “how it will help them achieve a result.”
Remind them of your bonus and that you will be pulling it down by tonight.
Email in the evening to remind them there is only a few hours left.
Email again about 1-2 hours before the cart closes. (There are always lots of late buyers)
Step 7: Back to delivering value.
It’s important that after you do a promotion that you go back into lots of value.
Why should someone continue to read your blog posts if you try to sell them everyday?
It’s annoying and if they don’t get any value from you, they can go find a better option.
You can sell everyday, but you better bring the value like your life depends on it.
Make sure to sequence your promotions so you have 80/20 of value/promotions.
Bonus Tip: If the offer is evergreen and people can buy it any time, you need to create a bonus sequence like I just outlined.
You don’t offer the bonus as evergreen.
I’ve tested leaving the bonus open versus only offering a limited time bonus… and less people buy when you offer the bonus anytime they want to buy it.
This is isn’t unethical, it’s not mean… it’s business.
As humans we will always think about something if we have the option.
Usually if we have the time to think about something, we will forget because we have so much going on.
If you know the product will help them achieve their desired result, then it’s your duty to sell it to them.
If you have a hard time with selling because you feel it’s evil.
Then you have a problem I can’t help you with.
Selling is only evil when the person is evil 😉
I hope you got value from this blog post.
